Be Honest
Be honest to your brand, your product and your customers. The scary thing from a corporate perspective is that it is percieved they don’t control the Social Media message. Lets take the Blog as an example, respond to negative comments, view it as an opportunity to run a “Focus Group”. Blog on topics related to your company and industry. Don’t set up false personas to generate interest or fuel comments. Blog about your core and your competitive advantage. If your SM campaigns are honest your customers will recognize this and it will increase your brand validity.
