Fredericton Bald Eagle

5 miles outside of Maugerville, NB on the old TCH.  Nikon D50, 300mm, f6.7.
I find Bald Eagles fascinating, we have them back home on the island of Newfoundland, but this is my first wild sighting.
Bird Photography is very demanding, you just can’t pick up your camera and get a great shot.  A 2.8 zoom is mandatory as evidenced by this shot taken with a 4.5-5.6 std nikon 70-300 zoom.

  1. Thanks for the pingback! Sharing your discovery was a thrill – isn’t it wonderful that they can now proliferate. Even though we see many eagles in Minnesota, it’s always exciting. Regards, Betsy and Pete Wuebker – PassingThru
